Release / Tag / Version usage?

Good Morning Gentlemen!
Pardon me if I am missing something.. but I could not see any versioning / tagging / release in Flotr2 library.
Are there any releases done in Flotr2? Can releases be implemented in Flotr2 so that as a end user I can find out which exact version he/she had used in his/her implementation?
We can start off with simply marking current trunk as v1.0.0 and move forward...
If this is already implemented in some other fashion.. kindly requesting you to point me towards the same.
