What editor is the editor for, or is it possible to develop it later?
not sure I follow, can you reference the code snippet that references the editor?

Right, I follow now. For the Livecode & Cubmap example and when they launch, a dialog pops up... this is intended so the user can select a text editor application to the app can open the shaders for editing.
