Crashing

Testing trail version and it has crashed consistently for no apparent reason about every five minutes. Is this normal?
Shortly after posting this, it stopped crashing so much. Been using it for a few more hours and not one crash. I find it unusual for something with so much development to crash every 5 minutes.
