App is unusable - Editor keeps resetting after short typing pause

There is an issue where the editor keeps resetting after a small pause in typing. In order to start typing again I have to click the specific section again which is very annoying, especially in larger notes because the rest scrolls the note back to the top. And when I'm switching between windows expecting to type I instead have to click and restart and the smallest pause resets.
The app is currently unusable as a result.
Is this a known issue and is there a fix?
Strange behavior, didn't experience anything like that in Quiver. I didn't think it is a common issue. Could there be other software interfering ?
