Race condition on the hotkey `ctrl+alt+cmd+shift+.`

When I bind the hotkey ctrl+alt+cmd+shift+., there is a race condition between Hammerspoon and macOS, as this hotkey is set to generate a sysdiagnostics in macOS. Is there a way to make Hammerspoon have priority or disable the OS hotkey?
