Image position in slide of MaterialCarousel with slow network connection

Is there a way to recognize when a image is completely loaded in the widget?
Having a slow internet connection images load slower then the rest of the form in which the MaterialCarousel is integrated. But then the images are not correctly positioned. Only when you click the dot to change the slide the position is corrected.
Thanks in advance for any idea.
