Measure ping/packet loss with udp proxy vs no proxy

Can we make an objective measurement of the ping/packet loss difference that the udp proxy makes?
Some people have been seen to warp with the current version of the software. The recently introduced proxy is likely the cause. But to prove that changes make it better, an objective measurement method is needed.
Priority of this has been lowered until I can find a way to reproduce #64.
Haven't had any report to confirm this. Closing.
