Transfer failed when sending files bigger than 15Mb to android 14

Describe the bug
When sending files from GNOME 45 using the nautilus menu "send to mobile device" the file transfers fail if the files are bigger than about 15 Megabytes.
No issue when transferring files smaller than 15 MBytes
Steps to reproduce
Select the file to transfer in Nautilus (GNOME 45).
Select "send to mobile device" from the context menu.
Expected behavior
The file is transferred from the Linux device to the target android (version 14) device
