Create a node that processes receiver sepecific format and publishes in a receiver independent format as ROS messages. Modify rtkrcv to read in these ROS messages instead of directly reading from a receiver or network port.

This enhancement allows to save raw receiver data in rosbags and therefore playback in simulated real time.
