Affected app version
1.1.1
Affected Android/Custom ROM version
Android 14 / CalyxOS
Affected device model
Pixel 4a
How did you install the app?
F-Droid / IzzyOnDroid
Steps to reproduce the bug
It seems that the Dialer Notifications do not differentiate between incoming and outgoing calls as the stock dialer does.
As a result, Gadgetbridge signals an incoming call to the watch, even when it is actually outgoing.
So to reproduce:
- Install this app
- Install Gadgetbridge
- Pair a device with signaling capability to Gadgetbridge.
- Make a call.
Expected behavior
Differentiation between incoming and outgoing calls, just like with the stock dialer. So only incoming calls are signaled by Gadgetbridge.
Actual behavior
Notifications seem to be the same for incoming and outgoing. So outgoing calls make my watch vibrate during the whole call, with no possibility to stop it.
