Getting Started

Dear Simon,

I really would like to use mobo but currently I am struggling to get started. For me there is a lot of documentation missing. I am willing to contribute to the wiki of this repository in return for some help. :-)

I am trying to use mobo for a quite simple "model": A collection of images (each with a title, a description and a place). Those images have been put into one ore more categories. The categories exist in German and English.

I would make title and description a field, right?
But how about place?
What are all the possible values for "type" in fields and/or models?

Can you give me some help or pointers to help?

Greetings
Hermann

Dear Hermann,

glad you're liking this project!
Yes, you're right - the documentation is very incomplete at the moment and there should be at least one working (rather simple) example to get started with. But doing this is planned ;)

Thanks for offering contributing to the wiki! Maybe its a good idea I explain you this in private and we document it on the fly and create an example model out of it? In fact, you're not the first person that made this statement/offer.

Greets,
Simon

Hi Simon and Hermann

I'd be up for joining you guys for Simon's explanation session. I have several concrete ontologies that I need to plug into and develop/manage on distributed virtualized SMWs.

When are you planning to hold such a(nother) session?

Regards
Lex
