Both apps and tracker screen are blank nothing shows up

Which version did you use ?

Can you clear cache of app and retry ?

Can you share a screen and give name of device and Android version

I have been able to reproduce this issue. When version 3.1.0 is freshly installed, the app fails to populate the apps - also, it seems that the tracker list might not download.

If the app is uninstalled and ver. 3.0.1 installed in it's place, a Google message is brought up saying that the app is 'unsafe' and that it has been 'blocked'. This message did not appear when installing ver. 3.1.0
At this point using 3.0.1 if the user clicks to tell Google to allow the 'unsafe' app (Exodus), then the app can download the tracker list and the app list is populated.

Same here

Thanks for feedback. I know sometimes app fails to refresh apps and trackers. But i don't have any idea how to reproduce that.
Message about app is unsafe is normal, if you don't have install from Play Store, Google doesn't recognize signatures of app

@Jean-BaptisteC Hello, I'm facing the same issue on my Poco X3 NFC running LineageOS microG - Android 13.
I use v3.1.0 from Github.
Here is the log I captured.
removed

Thanks for log :)

Can you remove battery optimizations for Exodus app in Android settings (In settings, go to apps sections, select exodus -> battery)

I think Lineage OS kill Exodus, if app take too time to download reports

I seems to have figured out the issue.
I have the 1.1.1.1 app in DNS only mode, always-on VPN and it was blocking Exodus somehow.
If I disable 1.1.1.1 or exclude Exodus from it, the app will update the database just fine.
Battery optimization settings doesn't seem to affect this.

That's weird because I use the same DNS and I don't have any problem

Are you using the 1.1.1.1 app?
It doesn't happen if I use the system Private DNS mode.

Can you retry on latest version?

Hey there.
This issue still persists on Exodus v3.2.0 (Github) and 1.1.1.1 v6.32 (Apkmirror).

(I'm now running vanilla LineageOS, not microG build.)

This isn't a bug. Turn on notifications and wait for the database to finish updating. It takes a while and seems to repeat every time the app is reopened.

This bug doesn't happen on your device.

Of course I have notifications enabled. On my device, the notification appeared, showed 1/x, and then disappeared.

@bornasalman is not normal to refresh reports each time you start the app, can you clear app cache and restart app?
