Delay before any input

It's understandable why it's like that, but it get's irritating sometimes when you get random lagging waiting for the codeium to come up with the suggestion. It happens every time i press space, it freezes for half a second and then there is a suggestion which i can of course reject, but i was wondering whether there is a way to tweak codeium suggestions to make them not affect my workflow (probably there is a way to enable a suggestion on a keybind only when you press it?) The help will be much appreciated
Nevermind, managed to fix this, there was another keybind that was set, which started with the same letter causing the delay, because neovim just had to figure out what to use
