No other command works after List view crashes

Expected Behavior
the list view should list back the items when i enter list command
Current Behavior
nothing occurs on screen
Steps to Reproduce
- enter
list - Nothing happens even though system tells me it does

However, we were unable to reproduce this issue using the sequence of steps provided.
