STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:
In APP-6(D)(1) Table A-30 entries exist for SIDCs that do not have corresponding entries and symbols in Table 8-6 .
The entries are for Manoeuvre Areas, SIDCs:
SIDC 150101 Manoeuvre Area - Area - Friendly
SIDC 150102 Manoeuvre Area - Area - Friendly Planned or On Order
SIDC 150103 Manoeuvre Area - Area - Enemy Known or Confirmed
SIDC 150104 Manoeuvre Area - Area - Enemy Suspected
All the symbols above can be drawn using the functionality provided within the SIDC Status and Standard Identity, therefore no symbols are missing from the standard.
PROPOSED SOLUTION:
The symbols were provided within MIL-STD-2525D and to ensure that they are not reallocated to describe another symbol creating interoperability issues they should be annotated as reserved for future use.
Amend entries in the table depicted in green below.
