STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:

In APP-6(D)(1) Table 8-6 there is a symbol depicting a Limited Access Area SDIC 151100.

The symbol template has no amplifiers or modifiers and appears to be made from a combination of an area symbol and a point symbol. This is confusing and difficult to implement on an automated system and is not harmonized with the same SIDC within MIL-STD-2525D Chg 1 (Jan 18).

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

Replace the entry in Table 8-6 for Limited Access Area SIDC 151100 with the entry below.

Add the entries below to the Control Measures Modifier 1 table A-XX created for APP-6(D)(2) within the minefields SCP 17-001-UK. (The table number will be specified upon incorporation into APP-6(D)(2)).
