Coordinate Conversion selection of added coordinate points on maps needs bigger tolerance

BobBooth opened this issue · comments

With the latest build of Coordinate Conversion, I can add coordinates, see them on the map, and interact with the list and the points on the map to highlight individual locations. This is good. When I attempt to click on locations on the map to select the coordinate point, the target zone for clicks seems to be a single pixel on the point (usually the markers are larger than a single pixel). I find that it is difficult to hit this target point when clicking, so often I click at a location and the point is not selected. I would suggest increasing the target area for clicks on a coordinate location.

ArcGIS Pro 2.3.0 beta 1 build 14476
Coordinate Conversion 4.1.1.19 (latest October build)

The target click location seems also to one pixel at the center of the point symbol in ArcMap - it should be increased for ArcMap (10.6) add-in as well.

Closing as won't fix. Do not think this is functionality we need to implement.
