Action class for airplane

Hang14 opened this issue · comments

The action class needs to be defined before training. What actions do we have when foreseeing a possible crash?
Some actions I can come up:

  • Faster/Slower
  • Left/Right
  • Higher/Lower

What other actions do we have? Are the actions I listed above feasible in ATC?
I think it is proper to define the actions under airplane_model.

Assign to @JamesWiller.

Those works shall be done by the environmental models. It will change the speed and heading of any airplane upon request of the training part.

In fact, the airplane models only serve as a "container" for data like speed, heading and plane specification.

And also, for the ATC part, a numerical groundSpeed should be provided to the "pilot" (like in the real word) instead of just a indication of movement trend.

Refer to CCAR-93TM-R5 《民用航空空中交通管理规则》 of CAAC or AC 90-93B "Operating Procedures for Airport Traffic Control Towers (ATCT) that are not Operated by, or Under Contract with, the United States (Non-Federal)" of FAA for more information.

They could be found at:

Also, A video from the Chinese Australian aviation geek YouTuber Sam Chui called "EXCLUSIVE: Inside Dubai Airport Air Traffic Control" could help you build a sense of how ATC works.
