Right now the README provides its own installation instructions for Rust which may not be optimal for everyone. Rather than writing your own instructions, it may be better to link to the official installation instructions at https://www.rust-lang.org/learn/get-started
I completely agree, i've swapped it out for the link you've provided. Cheers for helping out :)
