Second level domains are labeled as FQDN

When searching a domain that has a ccTLD, such as example.com.mx, .com is taken as the domain name. This behaviour is incorrect, it should list the domain name as example.com.mx

you can use the public suffix list (https://github.com/nager/Nager.PublicSuffix) for that.
