Hello,
When I go to a http site, it does not do anything. I have to change it manually.
Microsoft Edge Version 92.0.902.84 (Official build) (64-bit)

Have you tried to use "EASE mode" in the HTTPS Everywhere menu?. This feature defaults all traffic to HTTPS regardless if it's in our base list or not.
Also, we encourage native features that major browsers have rolled out this year to default to HTTPS too! Here's how to in Edge:
