Divide-By-0 / ideas-for-projects-people-would-use

Every time I have an idea, I write it down. These are a collection of my top software ideas -- problems I think enough people have that don't have solutions. I expect you can reach a decent userbase if marketed correctly, as I am surely not the only one with these problems.

One Click Remote Desktop App Already Exists

I don't know what you do when you find an app that does some of this functionality. However, I have used Chrome Remote Desktop for a while now, and it's only getting better. As long as you have Chrome, it's a single click to install an app, and then an access code to connect. You can do it for your own computer too and connect via your phone if you want, though I have regularly done it with my grandparents so that I can help them fix problems with their computer from afar.

I've seen that, and tried it for this purpose. But the codes + having to sign in is honestly too much; i really just want like a "Visit this link and consent to give me access to your computer" type of thing (which would be malware without the consent button).

@Divide-By-0 I definitely understand wanting it to be slightly easier! However, for security purposes, I would almost say it's probably as easy as it should get. Any easier, and someone could easily gain access to your computer with just a click of a button. By enforcing a login and a code, you are less likely to be hacked by someone. I can see a desire for maybe an open source version, but even so, Chrome Remote Desktop is probably about as close as it gets while remaining reasonably secure.

That's fair -- I'll add a note about security issues.
