You can use https://github.com/KOLANICH/RichConsole as a boilerplate
unfortunately this is so old of an issue that the referenced project is now on to pyproject.toml (which is not something I currently understand).
packaging in 2022 is definitely something I don't already know, so I think it's out of scope for 5.1.0
