Specify which version of emulators are needed?

I am trying to assist a friend with setting up a good shiny hunting setup and thus sourcing information for what to use where.

Unfortunately all I found so far is VBA-RR; is this the one that I use with the Gen3 scripts? I need those in particular. :)
