Don't exit the app if an update was downloading

When the app is opened with file names as command line arguments (i.e. opened from Send To), It will close as soon as the files are processed. However, Since most files don't take that long, it will not let the app to update properly. So If there was an update being downloaded, it should just hide the dialog and wait for the download to complete.

Also, bring down waiting time before checking for update to 1 second. Most sessions won't take 5 seconds.
