mmrl hangs upon loading / freezes completely

for some reason l edited /system/usr/share/mmrl/bin/mmrl_explore_install_v6>

closed and reopened mmrl.

now it won't load anymore, simply freezing without any error meesage, stuck in a empty pink page.

I then proceeded to reinstall mmrl, wiping cache and all that, to no avail.

with SD Maid Pro, I even made sure there were no traces left of mmrl before reinstalling..... nothing happens.

where can I collect logs?

to get logs you can use

logcat --pid=`pidof -s com.dergoogler.mmrl` -v color

I was able to bring MMRL back: It's not freezing anymore.

uninstalling and reinstalling the app wasn't enough. I had to manually remove /data/adb/mmrl, then rebooting in recovery mode to wipe cache/dalvik, and finally rebooting.

this time I chose to install MMRL from the play store.

I noticed there was a new version, 1.15.12.

so It's under control now.

Great! There was a long time with no updates, due to my mental health and final exams.
