I know this is probably petty but.....
Could the icon size be a bit smaller?
The node is useful for many things, but the size of the icon sometimes makes it annoying with
the horizontal space it needs.
half size - please?
Ok.
Just a thought. I have been caught out a couple of times when using it in that the area needed for the two nodes used to "merge" the other links together are nearly as much trouble.
Oh, the "symbol":
(again maybe petty/trivial)
And it ONLY a suggestion:
How about something like two "back to back" fans like this:
(poor effort with the paint program, but done only to get the idea through)
Obviously not at that resolution or scale....
If that ins't a good idea, you said:
icon is supplied by the Node Red editor and can't be changed by the node itself.
What about the LINK icon?
