~2 years from now, the Life Sciences API will be sunsetted in favor of Batch:

We’re writing to inform you that the Life Sciences API (beta) will be discontinued on July 8, 2025. We recommend migrating your workload to Batch, which is a generally available service that provides comprehensive capabilities of Life Sciences API to enable continued workload execution.

Please note that while the Life Sciences API service will be functional leading up to the discontinued date, the UI within the Google Cloud Console will be shut down on September 22, 2023.

You’re receiving this email because we’ve identified that you’re using the Google Cloud Life Sciences API.

At the onset, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We’re committed to providing our valued customers with an enhanced user experience and cost efficiency with Batch.

What do you need to know?
The Life Sciences API will be discontinued July 8, 2025. As of July 17, 2023, new customers will no longer be able to enable the lifesciences.googleapis.com for use and the Life Sciences API will no longer receive feature updates.

What do you need to do?
Follow the steps in this guide to begin your migration from the Life Sciences API (beta) to Batch. If you do not migrate by July 8, 2025, your workload will be interrupted indefinitely.

Thanks @carbocation for posting for the community.
We've been building out the google-batch provider and are working with the Google Batch team on a few key features in order for us to get to feature parity with the existing google-v2 and google-cls-v2 providers.

We're not yet to the point of recommending using the google-batch provider, but we'll note here and in documentation when that time comes.

Thank you for the update. Just to raise this but container registry is also end of life. #257 Will we be getting google batch and artifact registry support together?
