How do you "Sync" the RGB

I downloaded the latest release. Unblocked the zip. Extracted and ran the exe. I created a sync group and added all the devices I have listed which are 2 for my mouse (assuming 1 for each led) 2 for my headset (assuming one for each LED) and one for my video card. The Sync LED drop down is always empty. I am just trying to get everything the same color for now to see if this works before I do anything more in depth. I am sure I am missing something basic but I have no idea what.

Video Card Gigabyte RX580 Gaming 8GB (detected, though as an Asus)
Motherboard ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO (Not detected)
Memory Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 3000 16GB (Not Detected)
Case NZXT H500i RGB strips connected to Smart Hub powered (Not Detected)
CPU Fan AMD Spire Cooler (Not Detected)
Run it as admin and see if it detects your motherboard, then use AURA options 4 or lower (Rainbow)
