Creation/modify date for files is not shown in Finder windows

Is that normal that I can't see the creation/modify timestamp in files?

Right now I'm using Mac OS X (iAtkos S3) updated to 10.6.7
iPhone 4.0.1, 4.2.1 and 4.3.1 all showed this symptom.
