iPhone recognized, but no Status Item and root access

GoogleCodeExporter opened this issue · comments

My iPhone is recognized, but it doesn't show the root.
The Status Item in the Taskbar is not showing either.

Here's a log out of the console:

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Disk for iPhone 20100411 on Mac OS X 10.6.3

Thanks

Looks like a duplicate of issue 32. However, I have no idea what the problem
is.

Nope. Issue 32 is different!

First, the status item in the task bar is gone in this version so that is
intentional. If you jailbroke your phone and want to mount the Root partition
you have to do some configuration file editing and you can't switch back and
forth between mount points.
See http://code.google.com/p/iphonedisk/issues/detail?id=33 for more details

Second, the console log looks the same as the console log screenshot in Issue
33 so I assumed it was the same.
