Autofilling Parenthesis and Other Brackets

Just a small thing that I find kind of annoying, although it is possible to live without, is eclipse not autofilling parenthesis and other bracks (namely straight ones). Just a small thing that I noticed and would be nice to have those features. The DDT does autofill curlybraces though. Any particular reason that this functionality hasn't been added?
