Zombie Awareness hates Optifine

When I have Zombie Awareness installed with Optifine the game freezes at World Gen 100%. This has been driving me insane for a while but finally found out Zombie Awareness is the issue. I am on 1.16.5 with Forge 36.2.39 and Optifine 1.16.5 HD U 68.
