Force FCP to select a specific secondary monitor on a 3 monitor setup (+ more)

So I have a three monitor setup. Only one of the screens are 16x9, the other is portrait 9x17 and the third is the 16" macbook screen. the 16x9 is in the middle of the setup. Two issues with the thoughtless FCP team.

  1. When using dual monitor and want to send the browser to a secondary display, it always picks the laptop screen. There is a workaround, where I select another monitor as the main display, however it would be nice if CommandPost could trick fcp into selecting which one is the desired secondary screen without messing with display setting hacks every time.
  2. A/V output is severely limited in that it always requires a 16x9 ratio display. So the laptop cannot be used as a monitor (unless I send the viewer there, in which case I don't have a preview of the video on my central monitor. It would be great if CommandPost could again "trick" fcp into displaying a/v output on different ratio displays.

I'm not sure if CommandPost can solve either of these two things, however you might be able to use NDI output in Final Cut Pro, to drive NDI Monitor and put that on your laptop screen?
