Why not build "above footer" section with actual widgets?

It's currently built using custom Customizer controls, not widgets. ALTHOUGH there is a toggle that reads: "Activate footer top widgets" ...
Could use a better wording here instead of "Footer Sidebar #1" but at least it's now built using widgets.
