add so that you can open an assembly and redact part of bytecode even with errors in the code if possible
Errors indicate there are either problems in the bytecode you need to fix, or a bug in the assembler. For bugs, report those specifically with reproducible test cases. Though keep in mind we're working on rewrite branches, so 2X issues are not likely going to be addressed.
