App uninstalling in Android

Well not uninstalling exactly. Every few weeks Spokane Historical disappears from my home screen. When I go to all apps it is there, and I put it back on my home screen, and eventually it vanishes again. This has happened a half-dozen times on my first gen Atrix, and Tracy reports the same behavior on her hacked Nook.
Larry, have you ever seen this happen to other apps? What version of Android are you running?

Haven't seen it with other apps. Running Froyo on a 1st generation Atrix.
