Possible links to add to cdms RTD

cdms is now independent of vcs and other pcmdi tools, but I think it would be nice and useful to add a sister projects section, with at least a link to CDAT, or to the python modules developed at PCMDI. The minimum being to add a link to CDAT from cdms 1.1. Overview (CDAT is mentioned, without a link)
It could be useful (for users) to add a Download documentation pdf from cdms home page. I have finally found that I could do that from the floating menu at the bottom right of the RTD page, but let's make this easy for new users
Now that I think of this, the documentation (since it dates from a time when cdms was not standalone) does not mention how to install cdms, where the github page is, how to get help and who the contact is! Neither does the readme.md of the cdms github page
