Handling sensitive data in rails app

We are storing sensitive data, encrypting at the application level, but still have requirements for searching that data. I can talk about how we store/encrypt it safely and then manage a secure search index as well.

Handy for anyone doing health / payment / security related works.

Not sure if it was realised but the QRCode talk was meant to be a five min/lighting style thing - it won't take that long. Does that free up some time?
