Include an App in the Mac App Store

Is it possible to include the extension in the Mac App Store?
Theoretically yes; however I don't have a valid developer program subscription at the moment and I don't fancy paying Apple to provide this extension for free.
I will peek into this and do have an active Apple account, and will consider it after testing the repo.
