Alternate views and layouts do not work for music

If you go into music and choose one of the viewtypes like showcase and then go to viewtype settings then layout, toggling the alternate layout button on and off does nothing.

Also, choosing one of the layouts aside from the one large image also does nothing, that is the only one that will display. The others with 4 small images etc will not display.

Issue has persisted through 2 different OSes (Win 7 and 8) including clean installs.
