Problem with initial call out from app - first call always fails. second and subsequent succeed

Scenario:

1. App is opened for the first time: first call always fails
2. Second call in same session goes through
   If app is closed and re-opened, same scenario repeats (i.e. we can reproduce this)

We have uploaded the logs for both events.
