Bavarder flatpak is not working

soumyaDghosh opened this issue · comments

Describe the bug
The flatpak of Bavarder doesn't work, and startup at all in Ubuntu 23.04
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Flathub
  2. Click on Bavarder
  3. Install it & Run it
  4. Nothing, only says Force Quit

Expected behavior
It should have worked perfectly

Environement
Cannot access it

Additional context
I am using x11 with Nvidia in Ubuntu 23.04. Seeing this, I created a snap for this app, which works perfectly, and is built at par to the flatpak. Would you like to publish it in the store on your behalf? I will maintain anyways.

@soumyaDghosh Oh yes !! Thanks!!! Can you tell me what I've to do ?

Create a snapcraft account, and kindly give me your email id. So, that I can process the transfer of ownership. Also, should I push the snap build files to this repo?

Yes you can

Done. Collaboration also sent. Kindly add me as a collaborator to this repo also.

the issue is that this repo isn't where the development is happening ... This is only a mirror of https://codeberg.org/Bavarder/Bavarder

So, I need to create an account there and send it to there right?

commented

yep ! also why does all build are failing build ?

I can't find any build failing. I can only see that it needs your approval to run.

commented

i mean on the snapcraft

Can you show it to me?

If you're talking about the snapcraft builds page, that are by someone else and old. The new ones aren't yet there. They are here.

okay !!! so what's missing now ?

Hii, sorry for being later. This snap is currently in a process of transfer of ownership. I am trying to do it asap. Thanks for your co-operation and help. BTW, as the commit above I can see, I guess I don't need to change the permission any more?

commented

Permission of what ?

Permission of what ?

Of the binary file. I had this in the snapcraft.yaml earlier.

Hi, I have updated the screenshots in the snap-store listing page, which represents the snap properly. If you need changes, or want the exact same as flatpak listing, I will try to reproduce them. Thanks.
