extension not showing up after installation in Firefox

After installing the extension in Firefox, it won't show up the way extensions usually do.
The add-on manager shows it, activated and all, but I can't seem to find a way to access it from a regular browser tab.
I could install and quickly test the extension in Chrome on the same machine, without any issue.
OS: CentOS 8.4.2105
Browser: Firefox 78.14.0esr (64-bit)

Ah... I see now that in FF the icon appears in the address bar like on your
screen capture, instead of appearing with the rest of my extensions (like
it does in my Chrome install).
I had taken this opportunity to upgrade to FF 91.2.0 to see if that would
make any difference, so I can't confirm whether or not it was the same
non-issue in the previous version I used, but you can probably close this.
Sorry for the trouble!
Maybe a word of warning for FF users could be added somewhere?

Unfortunately I can not seem to be able to repro on windows. Please note I
had to install twice as the first time FF decided to not install the
extension.

You could try to install it from a local clone.
