The Speaker Voice for "Google UK English Female" is using the "Google UK Male Voice."

Steps to reproduce

  1. Choose "Google UK English Female" voice.
  2. Click any speaker icon.
  3. Hear the "Google UK Male voice."

Expected behavior

We should hear the "Google UK Female Voice."

Hello and thanks for the report! The voices are coming from the system, this particular one is provided by Google Chrome. For some reason their Female UK voice is a actually a Male one. Looks like Chrome bug for me.

You can use US voice, it's female.

To check the available voices you can run the following in the dev console:
speechSynthesis.getVoices()
