Slider for Era picking

I think that would be very useful if there would be a slider for picking different Eras.
For example: antique, middle age, renaissanse and modern age.
And the Era, that you pick will determine how much Republics, Kingdoms, Folk religions and other things would be generated. Also maybe it could be connected to a Year option. When you choose specific year, then era of these year in our world will be the era of the map. That's pretty big change, which would take some time to make, but i really think, that it could be really helpful
Era, in this context, would require to take a reductive approach of what a timeframe constitutes. The medieval era wasn't the same for the europeans, the pacific islanders, nor the south americans, to name a few. It's a vague concept that will take too much in resources to do very little of actual substance.
Yes, that's something we want, but very complex to do
