Status bar updates don't work on iPad Pro (11-inch)

Describe the bug
When changing the date on the status bar from the RocketSim tool, the date does not update on iPad.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Run a Xcode project on an iPad Pro (11-inch)
2. Click on the RocketSim tool to change the date
3. Bug: The iPad does not display the updated date from the RocketSim tool.

Expected behavior
The date set on the RocketSim tool would appear as expected on the iPad Pro.

Additional context
Changing all the other tool bar items works as expected.

Tested with 15.3.0 final release and could not reproduce.
