Describe the bug
The sandbox shell crashes when swapped to more than once during the lifetime of the app.

Steps to reproduce
1. Set the sandbox shell as your default
2. Open the app
3. Switch to another shell
4. Switch back to the sandbox shell
5. Observe the crash.
