Can't progress very early on due to logic edge case?

Hello,
To keep it short, I think I may have found a weird edge case flaw in the logic that places items around the map. I had the Kokiri forest entrance closed and all GS tokens included in the random pool. I've explored everywhere I can without glitches, but I cannot get my hands on any bugs to get the items placed in the Softsoil patches in the Forrest or Lost Woods to progress. I know there are bugs available in the grass in the Lost Woods, but I cannot pick the grass up at this point nor do I have anything to cut it with. If I'm not mistaken the only other places to get bugs are outside of the Forrest. Below is the full output of the spoiler text.

Looks like you have to do a jump attack for it to work.
Can confirm. One of the grass patches in Lost Woods has them. Jump attack it with a Deku Stick. Also I recommend moving to version 4.0: https://ootrandomizer.com
