Does the Locate app go with sumsung GT9300 s3?

I am asking this cause in google play I found it saying not compatible with my device. So is it true? Or is there an android version limit?(I am currently running 4.1.2)
Yes, as long as the Galaxy S3 has been upgraded to Android 4.3 the Locate app will run on it.
